Welcome to our cozy, quiet community. We are a gated 55+ Community, located in Arden, North Carolina, two miles from the city limits of Asheville, North Carolina, and nestled in The Blue Ridge Mountains.
Planned Unit Development
The Hills is incorporated as a Planned Unit Development (PUD) in the state of North Carolina, with each of the seventy (70) homeowner’s being an equal shareholder. We are a stable and secure development that functions with reasonable restrictions established by Protective By-Laws, Rules and Regulations, Covenants and Agreements.
Board Of Directors
Our Board of Directors consists of A President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian. Complimentary to our Board of Directors is a Newsletter Editor, Architectural Design Chairman, and Web Administrator. All board members are made up of, and elected by the homeowner’s at the annual meeting.
The Board of Directors, adopts, amends and enforces the Rules and Regulations, and Architectural Design Guidelines of the Community.
Management Company
The Home Owner’s Association (HOA) Management Company is Worthy Association Management located in Hendersonville , North Carolina. In General The Management Company is responsible for managing all the financial aspects on behalf of the community. They coordinate maintenance requests and repairs and do such acts and things that require action for the community and or residents.
Community
The Hills is a Pet Friendly community and many residents can be seen walking with their pets, year-round, taking advantage of the Four Seasons that we all enjoy. Relaxing at the Gazebo
is especially nice when walking the dog, (especially if your dog has “been walking you”…)
The Breakfast Club and Dinner/Supper Club are a delightful experience, with membership continuing to grow.
With the heavily wooded area surrounding The Hills, one may occasionally see Deer, Rabbits, AND , if one doesn’t remember to bring in their bird feeder, well, they might be visited by a Bear.
Area
The Hills is conveniently located to hospitals, including the Regional Emergency Animal Care Hospital, (REACH ). There are numerous restaurants to satisfy the palate from casual to fine dining. Retail, grocery, arts, antique, theater, NC Arboredum, Pisgah Inn , and of course, the famous Biltmore House and Grove Park Inn, are all in close proximity.
Being able to view the Natural Beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains all around us, can give one the feeling of Peace and Tranquility.
